Shouldn’t Charlie be like, way more powerful than she is?

Genuine question here, but as the literal princess of hell, I kind of assumed Charlie would be able to hold her own against Adam, or at least put up a good fight, but she didn’t really do much? Is there a reason or is she just not that powerful.
