Dry throat won’t go away ):

Hi all. I’ve been having a dry throat for the past month. It feels like there’s something there like mucus or something but instead of my throat, it feels like it’s up way back by my mouth. I think it could be due to not drinking anything for the past month or so not sure. When I eat cereal, I do choke a bit easier which is weird since I’m an avid cereal eater & haven’t had that problem before.

I’m scheduled to see an ent in mid August but until then, has anyone experienced something like this? I have been experiencing tinnitus on one ear as well. Could it be tonsillitis? I apologize for the horrible description. Any feedback is appreciated!
