I played commander for the first time

And it was the most fun I’ve ever had playing HLL. I recently bought the game, have about 30 hours in it, and when I hit level 30, and friend and I joined a random empty server to mess around. However, very quickly, 2 people became 4, became 8, and all of a sudden I’m the commander for a full team with squad leaders talking constantly and people all over the map. I let the squad leaders know that I’m brand new and didn’t intend to play an actual game, but they were all very supportive. I spent most of the match either prone in a trench with the map open, or very slowly driving a supply truck around trying to make garrisons. It was the most overwhelming thing I’ve ever done in this game, but I had a blast. I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t played commander yet, try it out.
