Is it damaging to lift heavy with Hiatal Hernia?
I’ve had the hernia for years now with manageable discomfort. Throughout the years, my symptoms have worsened and have gradually become less manageable. Despite my situation I have also been lifting heavy in the gym and I am wondering if my increased discomfort is a result. I also have troubles running due to acid reflux and gas. If lifting is something that makes my symptoms worse, what are some exercises that are safe for me to do without causing any extra suffering?
