Benefits of Becoming an International Histotechnologist?
Hello,
My husband moved to NYC and I’m looking to join him on an O3 visa. I’m a UK-based Biomedical Scientist, specialising in Cellular Pathology. I have almost 8 years of laboratory experience, both in Clinical, Research and Biobank laboratories.
I would like to be ASCP-certified as a Histotechnologist. I was wondering if it would be more beneficial for me to apply to become an International Histotechnologist instead?
I’m coming to grips with the requirement needed to be certified and unfortunately, ASCP has not been responding to my enquiries. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
