New Build Town House Floor Sloping

Hey all! I just recently bought a new build and am having issues with it. The kitchen and powder room are situated on a cantilever, but there is a slope where the flooring is. I am even beginning to see cracks in some of the floor pieces. The home builder brought the engineer who approved the build over and he told me that a little bit of slope is normal in situations like this. The home builder said the solution is to just put self leveling material underneath the floors. I am still within my 1-year warranty and am looking for any advice on how I should proceed. Is self leveling a viable solution or is this a sign of a bigger issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
