Is there a problem with the suspension?

Have been driving the Elevate for last 1.5 months now. The car is smooth on good roads, however speed breakers rumbler strips and deep potholes are felt severely in the cabin so much so that the seats start vibrating, especially on the rumbler strips. There are loud thuds if you don't slow down to 5-10 kph on speed breakers. Is this normal or should I get the suspension checked?
