My opinion on the Aglaea hate

While I totally understand why some people may dislike her, here's my opnions. Feel free to disagree or correct me. And tell me what you think.

I understand where her "hostility" or "cold demeanor" is coming from. If we put ourselves in her shoes, the AE is aliens to their planet. She doesn't have any reasons to fully trust us. Plus, her mindset is "eliminate any possible threat/ do anything to protect her people". Even she admits it herself, that she has lost touch with her humanity becuase of this huge responsibility of being the leader of the chrysos heirs and ruling Okhema. I do hope shaoji would write her a backstory about how things led up to this stage. I would like to think that she possibly cared too much and lost too much that she has sealed her humanity away to protect herself. She is the logical type leader, her decisions don't get swayed by emotions but she sometimes forget about others' feelings too. Though these things don't justify her actions, it makes it more understandable.

There's one thing I don't get though, she tells tribbie she didn't actually want to kill us but did kill us if we got the interrogation wrong. So is she lying to her teacher??

I just think that people are overreacting a bit. We know basically nothing about her and we already got people hating her with a passion. Like Jade, basically. The main story for now is not enough for us to know fully what character she's like.
