Finally bought a new phone after using p30 since it was launched, it was the best phone i had. iPhone 15 Pro max now, my first iPhone. I'll get used to it but it doesn't beat Huawei.
update 8/3/24 I love the iPhone after 1 month. i don't miss android, both are great operating systems
Year after year I was searching for something new but nothing looked worth upgrading to. Decided to pull the trigger and got iPhone 15 pro max. My p30 is fine, chilling in the drawer, will be a backup phone. I switched to Apple because i just got bored of having the same phone for many years.
At first i wasn't sure I'm into big phones but 15pm is actually very comfortable to hold and not that heavy, maybe titanium helps. Bigger screen is very nice to look at. It's snappy as hell.
With p30 the best part is you can download paid apps or apps you buy subscription for free with apk. You can use Nova launcher and customize the shit out of your device. With iPhone? nothing. it's a huge change but I'll adapt to it. I'll live without Revanced YouTube.....
What I don't like about iPhone is i can't have what I mentioned above.
Safari browser, even chrome firefox etc. basically are like safari but tweaked.
I don't like the keyboard, using SwiftKey but it's meh, better on huawei
Alarms are crap, used AMdroid on p30
Photo gallery, holy shit, whatever you download or take a photo, screenshot goes to a folder Recents, it's just mix. With Huawei i had everything organized. iPhone gallery is beyond bullshit.
You can't connect iPhone to laptop and simply drag songs or images to it. I just download songs from yt to mp3 and use one music player app i found to import the songs to it.
Camera, you can't manually set shutter speed, iso etc. Need third party app with subscription lmao.
These are just few of the stuff I don't like, much more there but these are the most important to me.
I'd pick samsung s23 s24 if i knew how apple ecosystem is. I'll use the phone for 2 years and move to samsung or oneplus.
One good thing, the battery is a beast.
