Entry level IT Motivation

Hey everyone I just wanted to talk to everyone who is starting out in IT. A year ago I made it my goal to switch from a degree in game design to the IT field. Like most people being the “family tech” person I knew that alone would never get me anywhere. So I got my A+ certification 6 months ago ( currently working on network+). I’ve been applying and furthering my studies everyday cause I know this field is where I wanna be. Since the start of 2022 I have applied to about 150+ jobs from help desk to desktop support and more. I’ve gotten tons of interviews but am coming up short due to my lack of job experience compared to those who have multiple years. I know I have the knowledge but I want the experience. I’m writing this so for those who are in a similar situation know that they are not alone. DO NOT GIVE UP. I’ve talked to multiple recruiters from multiple agencies. Had those interviews where you feel super confident just to get a email the next day along the lines “unfortunately we decided to go with another candidate but apply to some of our other jobs.” Just to see the same posting come back a month later. I study and work hard everyday cause i know eventually I will get a opportunity and when I do I will run with it and show how hard I worked. Writing to journal my it career and road bumps

TLDR; If you are in a stage of your IT career where you apply to multiple jobs or had multiple interviews that don’t seem to go well don’t give up keep pushing and get where you need to be. Thank you everyone in this sub for your tips and motivation. Don’t be afraid to DM me if you ever want to talk.
