Is this movie actually that scary?

I dont remember watching this when I was young, on tv or anything. After seeing so much hype on Insta, I gave it a try and felt it underwhelming. It was an okayish movie and the "scary" parts didn't do much for me. Might be cos I was expecting too much. What about you all?
