Brandon Leonardo, co-founder of Instacart, in an AMA, said "Secretly, I'm looking forward to getting rid of all the middlemen and I want Instacart to be the team that invents the food synthesizers from Star Trek."

This was 8 years ago and technology has greatly improved leaps and bounds. The news says everyone's jobs are going to get automated by the AI Google and OpenAI are making. How screwed are we? I depend on Instacart for my entire lifestyle. Is Brandon really going to get rid of us "middlemen"? Do I beg him not to?
