Focus on Boards
Hey buddies!!
I randomly came across this sub some days back and wanted to share some wisdom.
I gave JEE in 2017, got into one of the old NIT. After working for 3 years decided to give CAT exam and was fortunate enough to secure an admission in IIM Ahmedabad.
Now coming to the mai point, please dont ignore your board exams. Yes the advice seems strange espcially in a sub dedicated to JEE exam but trust me if you will ever plan to pursue MBA in India, board marks are really crucial.
I will just quote an example
For interview call at IIM indore
CAT weightage - 30% 12th weightage- 25% 10th weightage- 39%
I see lot of my school friends cry that they now cannot pursue mba from top bschools because of the shitty past acads and if they had awareness they would have focused on boards.
