Help My Pakistani Friend Get Started with Malayalam Movies

I have a friend from Pakistan who’s a huge movie buff. He’s been hearing a lot about Malayalam cinema and is super excited to give it a try. Since he’s completely new to Mollywood, I want to suggest some movies that are perfect for someone who doesn’t speak Malayalam or know much about our culture.

I’m looking for movies that:

1. Have universal themes or stories that anyone can enjoy.

2. Show the brilliance of Mollywood—our amazing storytelling, acting, and direction.

3. Are available with good subtitles so he can follow along easily.
