INTERESTING CHARACTER BACKSTORIES

  1. Shibashou: The man who stopped the horde, casually destroyed Ousen army with just one push straightforward without some pincer but being pincered. The mysterious man recognised even before as a Zhao Three Great Heavens candidate. I think we all would like to see what made this man a tiger which has great martial might. To me he resembles Houken which is trained in military arts as well as being inspiring to people around him drawing men like Ji Aga, Kan Saro and many more probably. I believe that his backstory will in the least not be dissapointing.

  2. Ran Bi Haku: This is a character that i believe most of you missed because he doesn't have any dialog so far in the manga but still he is a menace. When he first entered the manga as a aid of Wei Fire Dragon Rei Ou he was instantly recognized by Tou which said "This is a difficult customer", which he fought against with Ouki. He is also referred as the Berserker which means that his skill was wisely recognized. In the Juuko arc he fought against Sento Un (which is surely one of the strongest characters and a battleholic) and Kou Yoku( Bakuya sword user which is probably one of the strongest swordsman with Tou) also his army is recognized as the strongest Wei army. Id now make a bold statement saying that he is the strongest Wei warrior surpassing Gaimou because he was recognized by Ouki and Gaimou wasn't remember the flashback when Gaimou said to Shin "your saying the same things as them" which draws me to conclude that Ran Bi Haku went against prime and survived and also possibly injured Ouki (due to Ouki having scars) while Gaimou was avoided because Ouki was sure hed cut him down pretty easily. He is also a Berserk reference also look at his lieutenant's helmet.

  3. Ousen: Also a character with less dialog but at least some. A tactical genius and also a man who when conquers a foe recruits him for his army and goal. Though he lacks charisma like Ryofui and Riboku he makes it up with his great intelect. He was recognized during king Sho as a man with tactical level of a great general and has long since surpassed that level. During his first battle in the manga Renpa was reminded of Hakuki the leader of the past great six which was recognized as the greatest Qin general. It is my belief that he probably was under Hakuki or he revered him. Ousen reminds me of a man which is at the pinnacle of great thinking, I say this because his dream is to build a new kingdom in which it won't matter if your Wei, Qin, Zhao or anyone else. This can be surmised by thinking about the seven warring states as brothers bickering amongst themselves. Why? Because they are the same people which speak the same language which were inherited by the ancient dynasty 500 years ago, and he also knows that even if Qin were to conquer all the others there isn't a way for Qin to govern them all for a lasting time, that is why he didn't devote himself entirely to Qin, only through military he supports them. His backstory will explain this or something similar surely which will have the same conclusion.

  4. Last but not least is Riboku: To me the greatest character in the manga and also beloved by the writer. The commander which stopped the Xiongnu(Hun ancestors) and boright peace to Northern Zhao. A man possessing great charisma and atracting good people around him. We saw in the manga that Riboku was saved by Houken and that it was a divine intervention of some sort and that he has a great role to play. He is truthful and said at the beginning that he is a coward in the way that he would do anything to avoid greater bloodshed for his people. He is also of great intelect like Ousen and their minds along with Shouheikun are probably the greatest in all the states. He is a great general and also a deadly statesman(recruiting spies, manipulation of information, diplomacy) his skills brought him to theater of great war in which he holds the lives of millions in his hands. His military campaigns were successful all except the coalition battle where he was attacked by the Mountain tribes. Even when he retreated from the shukai plains he didn't feel great defeat but tried to stop supply lines to Gyou but was defeated by the men whose title he is defending. After the betrayal and humiliation he didn't went against Zhao he could hvae surely defected to Chu(he would make the strongest state ever) no he still loved his country and prepared for a great return. He set the playing field against Ouki, Kanki and Ousen and managed to slay two out of three. He is the greatest menace in the manga. His backstory should have two parts firstly how he lost everything and secondly Ganmon governing. I believe that his backstory is going to be the kost interesting among all the others. For a man like him he cannot be born he must be forged.

That would be the characters that i personally think are going to be the most interesting.

Do you think there are more characters with possibly very good backstories?
