Laser burn scar, will it ever go away?

I got laser hair removal session done on my face using candela gentle max pro in nyc, and cryogen gas starting emitting suddenly in huge amount in the middle of treatment due to a malfunction. My eyes had glasses on so I couldn’t really see what exactly happened but the technician said it was the cryogen that started coming off and it left a brown patch scar on my face. It’s been 4 months and the scar hasn’t gone away. I am using Hydrocortisone 1.5% every night for last 1 month. Will it ever go away? I am crying please help
