Whenever I recommend a movie my dad asks the same stupid question.

“How many people get killed/die in the movie” He’s been asking this question ever since we saw Man of Steel in the cinemas as a family. I always felt like this metric of judging a movie incredibly stupid and flawed, there are movies that are relatively family friendly like Independence Day where billions die and movies that are not family friendly in the slightest like The Substance where technically 1 character dies.

It made me curious, what movies can be made to sound a lot worse or better than they actually are by stating the death tally
