The right-back arrows a delightful pass into the path of the Uruguay international, who brings it down before firing goalwards. However, much to Luton's relief, the ball comes off the top of the woodwork and flies over.

33'| BIG SAVE! A brilliant injection of pace from Gravenberch sees him reach the edge of the Luton box, drawing out the defenders and creating the space to feed Jota. The Portugal international pulls the trigger first time, firing towards the bottom corner, though Kaminski gets down to his right and paws it away.

• GOAL!!! CHONG PUTS LUTON AHEAD!!! It comes from a Liverpool corner, which seems to deflect onto Barkley's arm. While the visitors appeal for a penalty, Edwards' men charge forward on the counter and Barkley lays it to his right for Kabore. The right-back keeps his composure to curl a cross into the path of Chong, and the substitute beats Alisson to the ball to poke home and spark wild celebrations from the home fans. There is a VAR check, and though Dijk's header does seem to come off Barkley's arm, the VAR decides to award the goal and Luton are 1-0 up thanks to Chong's first Premier League goal!

Elliott floats a superb cross over to the back post for Diaz, who leaps high above Kabore to reach the ball before nodding over the goalkeeper and in to make it 1-1!
