Does Mercari Shadow-Ban? Or am I doing something wrong?

I'm selling premium items on my shop for 70% off. Super affordable, even with the new fees. We're talking 10-20$ for the items. I watched some of these items get bought out so fast over and over again from other people.

I've tried everything, high prices, low prices, offers, discounts, free shipping, tags, key words in listing, none of my items will sell! Two of my items I've noticed from lurking on their search saves are rare to find and in extremely high demand. When they'd get listed I'd watch them be gone INSTANTLY almost.

One of them has 400+ views but only 18 likes.

Another one has 200 and 15 likes, but when I looked that one up I was so confused to see someone charging way higher than me for the item, a recent listing, only two days old and they had 73 likes or something and three people had the item in cart. I just went back and checked and it's been sold.

I don't know how I'd be shadowbanned and still getting views, I just feel like something strange is a foot.

I had alot of beef with Mercari recently, when I sold an expensive item (under $100) and the carrier lost it twice, damaged it, then there was an issue with the Mercari shipping label and it couldn't be delivered and they sent it back to me immediately. It never showed. I opened about 8 tickets getting various different suspicious all unhelpful answers, I fought back viciously, and they deactivated my listing. It's now been a month since it was marked as returned to sender and I'm about to go bug them about it AGAIN because the carrier said they can't help and to talk to Mercari about reimbursement.

I just wondered if they might have done something to my account based on that but maybe I'm just being crazy and posting the listing at the wrong time but I'm worried about losing my likes
