Hello again everyone! I’m pleased that so many liked my thoughts on my last post so I decided to keep going with the note taking. I realised reading through my notes that I swear A LOT so I want to apologise for that! I am Australian, don’t blame me it’s my culture 🫣 All of this is done with love to the author and the actors, but no love is sent to the assholes who tried to make the untamed straight.

I’m still angry about what they did to Wen Ning. Why is he done so differently and so incorrectly. He keeps yelling and resentment pours out, it’s wild. He’s a fierce dead corpse. The way they get him back is by playing instruments together. What the fuck is going on. Was he dead before or wasn’t he? I’m guessing this has to do with censorship but holy fuck it makes no sense.

Why are there fully dilapidated temples in the yilling burial mounds?? There was nothing there. Wei Wuxian built it with the wens from the ground up but still the most they ever had was a bit of shelter. What does this add for the story?? Originally, the burial mounds was a place people threw bodies who didn’t deserve a grave, or bodies from wars (hence why the land was so cursed) there weren’t any tombstones, it was all death and decay. This version implies that the yilling burial mounds was once a civilisation, and people once lived there doing nefarious wicked magic. I really can’t stand all the changes they made to the demonic cultivation. It makes no sense and is absolutely packed full of plot holes
