What kind of performance are you getting?
EDIT: If you've come here looking for answers on your issues, and you have an nvidia card - disable HAGS! In Sunshine, as well as your Graphics settings under Display in Windows. (Settings > Display > Graphics > Advanced Graphics settings > Disable "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling"). Helped my framerate stability as well as my latency, however I did make several other tweaks as well including Vsync control through the nVidia control panel to ensure it was disabled regardless of application settings where possible.
Just a basic question, struggling to figure out what exactly I should be able to expect from my setup as people's claims for their performance with the same parts as mine vary wildly, and I'd like to know if this is because of which games are being played, etc.
Most of my clients are either WiFi 6/6E so this may well be feeding into my performance issues but the issues seem to affect more graphically intensive games as they tend to be the same whether I'm streaming at 20mbps or 80mbps.
I'm getting drops in framerate on games like CoD MW3 and Darktide - older games tend to run without issue. This leads me to think I'm just topping out my hardware, but my settings are way lower than other people with my kit are reportedly using. Even at the lowest encoder settings and lowest graphical settings on COD, I'm dropping frames. Funnily enough, both clients detailed below suffer these frame drops to an equal degree, yet one runs double the framerate and generally doesn't struggle to hit it, which would lead me to believe the 60Hz client wouldn't struggle whatsoever - but it does. I'm out of ideas so I'd like to hear other people's experiences. These issues don't present themselves on the host PC when running games over HDMI.
