Recommend Movies Set Entirely (or Mostly) on Trains!

I’ve been obsessed lately with movies that use trains as a central setting—there’s something about the confined space, the rhythmic clatter of tracks, and the mix of strangers (or enemies) forced into close quarters that makes for gripping storytelling. I’m looking to compile a list of films set primarily (or memorably) on trains, and I need your help!

I’ve already seen the obvious classics:
- Murder on the Orient Express (both versions)
- Snowpiercer (the ultimate class warfare locomotive)
- The Darjeeling Limited (Wes Anderson’s quirky family journey)
- Source Code (time-loop thriller)
- Train to Busan (zombies + speeding train = panic)

But I know there are hidden gems, foreign films, or even older classics I’m missing. What are your favorites? Bonus points if you explain why the train setting makes the movie.

Looking for:
- Any genre (thrillers, dramas, comedies, horrors, romances—ALL ABOARD)

Thanks in advance—can’t wait to add your suggestions to my watchlist! 🚆🍿
