User game play

Hey y'all, I have a question for everyone. My buddy and I have a 20+ year dynasty. He's won a lot of championships and is honestly the better player most games against me. Lately I've been trying different offenses because that's where I struggle. Defensively I'm really good. So I've started using Tennessee's playbook. And I've been having a crazy amount of success. Lots of rpo's, screens, runs, and qb runs. Because of this tho he thinks I'm cheesing the game and wants me to stop using certain playbooks. He also hates me doing streaks when a defense is in single high press.

Am I cheesing the game or is he being overly critical of what I'm doing?

Edit: so he also pointed out the using turbo is creating since it doesn't allow the defense to adjust... this is also the guy who spams strip tackle 9n defense so he gets 5 fumbles a game.

List of things he has said no more to: 3-3-5, streaks, me using oregon playbook OR jet sweeps.
