Is REDDIT Killing Your YouTube WATCH TIME?
So I’ve been checking the analytics on a few of my recent YouTube videos, and something caught my eye. I noticed that the average watch time from viewers coming from Reddit is shockingly low, like under a minute, sometimes even as little as 10 seconds! 😅
It’s strange because the engagement on Reddit itself is pretty solid — people comment and seem interested, but when they actually click the link, it feels like they bounce almost immediately.
Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think Reddit traffic is more of a quick-skim audience, or is there something I'm missing here? Any tips on improving this or getting better retention from Reddit would be super helpful!
