How do you keep a utility player happy?

I like to play with the morale system on for some semblance of reality, but I find myself annoyed at the difficulty with keeping utility players happy. If I have a starting caliber infielder that I play as the backup at 2B, 3B, and SS (playing nearly every day but not starting anywhere) they tend to get unhappy with their role, as they're not technically a "starter."

Does anyone have insight on how to avoid this issue outside of turning the morale system off? Is it worth it to just turn morale off, or does that negatively impact the overall experience in your opinion?
