Meta requiring a work email to add a secondary device

So I have been using a quest 3, got a quest two to play with my gf. Somehow I can’t add a secondary account to the quest 2. After I let in the 6-digit code, the next window asks for a work email. I have tried using the email of the new meta account my gf set up but that doesn’t work. To those who have successfully done this before, did you encounter this? And how did you handle it?
