Why didn't Rumple get a song?

So I'm listening to the musical episode and I can't help but be disappointed that Rumple didn't get a song, or even a line in a song. I could imagine him singing of how he is going to find Bae or how the countdown to being reunited is about to start. Does anyone know why he didn't get a song?
