Grade Inflation

so we all know grade inflations happening but what do you think the solution to this could be? because im worried if they make grading more strict at some schools everybody's averages are gonna plummet and good students arent going to be able to get into universities compared to schools that mark less strict. i get that theres adjustment factors but i struggle to believe that they are able to make it super accurate due to the different variables. lowkey this is so cooked
