Meds stopped working after Metformin ER?

Recently started Metformin and spironolactone. They’ve been a godsend so far; only been on Metformin for a few days and I’ve already lost 8lbs without changing my diet or exercise routine.

My only issue I’m experiencing is my nightly meds stopped working since I started Metformin and I can’t fall asleep for the life of me! Every night, I take melatonin, muscle relaxer, CBN tablet (no THC), beta blocker, magnesium, etc. And they used to put me right to sleep but lately, I’m staying up until 5-6-7am everyday :(

Does this happen to anyone else on Metformin? Does it cause absorption issues?
