If you ever wandered how Russia voids its passports

The cover isn't punctured.

The passport on the right was void in 2014 when I got the passport on the left in my birth city. The passport on the left was void this February in Russian consulate in Tbilisi when I has it replaced. I was younger than 14 when I got the passport on the right hence no signature.

For some reason the passport on the right is 5 year validity and has no holographic features on the main page although being a ePassport and I successfully download the color photo from it with a smartphone. Nowadays Russia issues 10 year ePassports for $90 (abroad) and 5 year regular paper passports for $35.
