Vertical GPU Temps in Evolv X?

Anyone have experience with a 2.5 slot GPU temperatures and mounting it vertically in the Evolv X? My specific GPU is the Asus 1080ti Strix. I know Gamer's Nexus review said it actually lowered temperatures but that was for a 2 slot card.
