revenant killed me in seconds while the crucifixes were intact.

İ was playing custom mode. The ghost cannot change its room. The Rev. was in the small room in the kitchen (grafton farmhouse i think) . I was outside the room, teasing the ghost, saying hide and seek, etc.. to start a hunt. Out of nowhere, i got killed. No grace period, no burnt crucifixes.. how is this possible? Any ideas?
