YouTube on internal screen

Does anyone have any tips on how to change the YouTube view with the Pixel fold when open. I like to watch a video and read comments. But when you click on comments they display on right hand side and you can only see the first few words. It makes for horrible reading and there is all the blank space at bottom of the screen - it makes no sense.
