PSA for those using AT&T Fiber internet and experiencing lag or disconnection issues while playing on Switch
I've read other Switch Unite players have been experiencing the same issue playing while using AT&T fiber, and I think I finally fixed the problem.
For about a month I had been experiencing disconnection issues mid game on ranked, casual, and quick matches. I did everything I thought possible to fix the issue like restarting my Switch, restarting the gateway, and clearing both the cache on the unite application and my Switch.
Nothing seemed to work for me, and I was debating on buying a new Switch since I figured it might be cause mine is older and not up to speed.
Turns out all I needed to do was log into my AT&T home app and create a guest network that only my Switch could connect to. I've been playing like normal again for the past couple days and that seems to have solved the issue.
