Buying PR sweets to bring back

I am visiting Puerto Rico next week. One of my friends is from there. She helped me plan my trip and she was from there so I want to bring back some local treats from Puerto Rico. I will be in San Juan for my trip as well as the west side of the island near crashboat. Would love some suggestions on what local sweets to bring back and that would be easy to travel back with.
