Confession of a serial super-franken collector.

My Clean Mint Green dial 41mm Datejust arrived today. I bought this watch specifically to turn into a super franken, similar to my blue dial Datejust. I even bought a gen fluted bezel before ordering the watch, so sure was I of this future build.

This watch is so nice….I have no idea if my build plans will survive. I may very well leave it alone. Will probably proceed with the planned movement swap, and since I already have the bezel, will probably throw that on….but maybe not even that. This watch is solid.

Cannot stand scrutiny next to a gen. No. We saw that just the other day with a great post here in this community. Can it withstand scrutiny on your wrist? 100%. It’s a great rep straight from the factory.
