Smart meter install questions. Both of my meters are outside

Just got a voicemail from RGE saying my smart meters are gonna be installed in the next few days. I have a few questions.

1) Do they know on the door or do they just install the meters? If I don't answer do they just changed the meters out anyways?

2) How long did you lose power for?

Anything else you could tell me would be helpful.
