Possible/viable to transfer data from kinhank x5 pro HDD to a desktop with SSD?

Sorry if anyone has already asked this, but I recently purchased a Kinhank X5 Pro. I used to use a lot of emulators on my gaming PC, but with all the extra baggage, malware ect., it bogged my PC down so bad I had to wipe it clean and start over and swore to never do that to my gaming PC again. So now I have this X5 Pro and I love it, but the performance is a bit shoddy, and the HDD is clunky, noisy and archaic. I have a friend who has an older gaming PC that he wants to give away. Says it has an RTX 2050 in it, and now I'm wondering (if it has the necessary SSD ports on the motherboard) if it would be possible/viable to transfer the data from the Kinhank, emulators, ROMs, scraped images and all, over to an SSD and run everything on a desktop that would provide superior performance and faster load times. Would it be as simple as making a USB connection and transferring the data, or would there be several hoops I would have to jump through like reformatting and such? I know the Kinhank runs like an android and not a PC, so I wouldn't be surprised to find out that it's simply not that easy or even viable, but even if I could just transfer the ROMs and emulators over, I would be willing to config the rest myself, like setting up directories and such. Anyone tried something like this before and/or have any insight on a project like this?
