Nudestix peel

A week or 2 ago someone posted about this. I tried it tonight and have a question. It pilled while I rubbed it in. Is that supposed to happen? I read reviews and it does happen but for the folks that say this is good, does it happen to you too? And after I rinsed off, my skin looked dull. Should it be this way or a bright/refreshed look?
