Scowling Robyn
I’m rewatching previous seasons and cannot even begin to express how enraged I get when I see or hear Robyn’s reactions to certain things or people in the family… especially knowing what we all know now.
This scene was focusing on the boys returning from the ranch in WY and the excitement surrounding their homecoming. As the camera was panning around the room you could see the love, happiness and/excitement from everyone there… all except one person… Robyn. She’s caught in the background making the most ridiculous faces. I choose to believe it’s because the focus wasn’t on her or her kids in that moment, and she cannot stand to be an afterthought or not a thought at all.
The next episode the family goes camping for the Fourth of July and there is some drama and tension around how some of the other kids are treating Robyn’s children… I feel like rewatching this, this is exactly where she plants the seed to have Kody adopt her kids. The adults are on the confessional couch discussing the drama with the children and Sobyn begins (of course) sobbing and stating that if the children (and parents) aren’t able to become a cohesive family unit, her kids are approaching an age that they can decide to go live with their biological dad instead of stay with her.
You can see the wheels spinning in Kodys head after she made those comments… and I guarantee you that’s what sparked the entire adoption conversation
Ma’am! You have had these kids calling Kody ‘daddy’ 2 hrs after meeting him… you’re not ‘rilly’ worried about them choosing their dad. You just want to cement their place in Kody’s life even more so.
Sorry for the rant. I just cannot with this woman.
