[Routine Help] i have been using the same skincare routine/brand for years, but i am not getting the same results as i used to.

hello! for the longest time, this has been my routine:

1 - cleanse) CLINIQUE acne solutions cleansing foam

2 - treat) CLINIQUE acne solutions clinical clearing gel

3 - moisturize) CLINIQUE dramatically different moisturizing lotion

for the past 6 years, this routine was my holy grail. however, i believe my medications have made my skin more sensitive over time, and i am more prone to breakouts. i have not been seeing any results, and instead more redness and breakouts. recently, i have been doing research and i have replaced step 2 - treat, with “Murad acne control rapid relief acne spot treatment,” and it has working way better for me. the only “risk” ingredients are alcohol, terpineol, and disodium EDTA, which have not done anything harmful to my skin. however, i’m still not getting the best results i could, so i am looking for recommendations to change my steps 1 and 3 as well.

i was considering changing my cleanser to Murad acne control clarifying cream cleanser, but both this cleanser and my current cleanser contain “phenoxyethanol,” which i feel may be the reason i’m not getting the best results that i could (but i’m not sure, i’m not a dermatologist lol). so, i was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar, and could recommend me products. thank you!
