Air jordan 1s worse quality then before?

Hello, i bought a pair of new jordan 1s before that i had same colour same everything and i had them for 2.5 years an they stood pretty well. In november i bought same shoe and its lot more uncomfortable and they feel like plastic. After roughly 4 months of lite usage here are results. So what do you think? The only thing i replaced the olds is because they were all crumbled up but stood preety well and firmly. Here are pictures:
