Constant crashing after 30 seconds to 5 minutes of gameplay

Per title, I can load the game, and get into the tutorial. It runs seemingly fine, then will crash at some point during the tutorial. Normally at the beginning but I've made it past the first several encounters before only for it to crash again.

I7 with a 2060, steam loads on solid state with space. Drivers updated. Framerate pegged at 30 fps dynamic.
I'm afraid its because I have windows 10.

Has anyone else experienced this bug and cured it?
