IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Tonight's SmackDown opens with "Big" Bronson Reed and The Bloodline in the ring. The crowd wants OTC. Solo demands the crowd acknowledge him anyway. Solo says he & his crew is ready, but Roman Reign's isn't - he's not even here yet. He needs Roman to submit to his terms of surrender and he & his crew will acknowledge him.

  • In the middle of the Women's US Championship Tournament match, we're shown video of Jade Cargill having been attacked. Bianca is conflicted but ultimately runs backstage to help her teammate.

  • Post-match, Jade is being loaded into an ambulance where Bianca is flipping out while Bayley, Naomi, & Nick Aldis are also upset.

  • As the Knight/Escobar match attempts to start, we're interrupted by a Shinsuke Nakamura vignette telling Knight to be rightfully afraid.

  • Not even a millisecond post-match, our goth demon samurai king Nakamura arrives to kick the shit out of LA Knight.

  • Johnny Gargano is backstage arguing with MCMG talking about Tomasso Ciampa's rampaging and what to do next, but MCMG feels Street Profits earned their next title shot. Street Profits show up and tell Johnny that some snakes hide in the grass…

  • Backstage, Nick Aldis asks Nia Jax if she knows anything about what happened to Jade Cargill? She says she was concerned about Tiffany Stratton's match later tonight. Aldis then catches up with Cody Rhodes who is looking for Kevin Owens. Cody hasn't seen him but he knows Kevin wouldn't miss this opportunity.

  • What do we call this iteration of Shinsuke Nakamura

  • Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens are arguing in the arena. Why did Owens piledrive Randy Orton? Why was it Cody Rhodes' fault? None of this is solved. Cody thinks KO just wants to be a victim, nobody holds KO down more than KO. And taking out his anger on Randy Orton with a banned move crossed the line. Cody puts the ball in KO's court as to what happens next, and KO deflects.

  • The OG Bloodline is backstage chatting. Sami Zayn is out of ideas for partners for WarGames. Jey Uso suggests Cody Rhodes. Jimmy is cool with it but Roman Reigns nixes it. Sami then mentions approaching Seth Rollins again, but Roman again says no. He claims they don't need anybody else. If they die, they die together. Everyone's in, but Sami asks Roman, what's the plan? Roman doesn't know.

  • Backstage Cody Rhodes is marching back (alert: Vinci sighting) but Carmelo Hayes interrupts him, telling him that people are saying KO is telling the truth. Cody shoves him and Nick Aldis has to get between them. Cody thinks it's time re-evaluate Carmelo as a first round draft pick.

  • The women's tag match is interrupted by Nia Jax grabbing Naomi and slamming her into a barracade. As a beatdown attempts to ensue, IYO SKY interupts taking out LeRae & Stratton before Jax stops her. SKY is back on the offense, but Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan storm the ring to take her out. Suddenly, Rhea Ripley's music hits, and she crashes to the ring with a kendo stick to stop the melee.

  • Match was made after earlier events tonight, and is up next: Montez Ford vs. Tomasso Ciampa.

  • Tez's win didn't last half a second before Ciampa went on the rampage. Angelo Dawkins and Johnny Gargano are caught in the anger tornado, with Ciampa shoving Gargano to the mat. MCMG runs to the ring to interrupt and hoist up Gargano, with Ciampa asking whose side he's on.

  • Next Friday: Cody Rhodes vs. Carmelo Hayes, and the next round women's US Championship Tournament match -- Michin vs. Piper Niven vs. a question of whether Jade Cargill is medically cleared.

  • The Bloodline is once again in the ring, but before they can do anything but throw up the 1s, the OTC's music overwhelms. The Usos, Roman Reigns, and Sami Zayn join them. Tama Tonga is forever possessed by the spirit of a rabid hyena. Solo says he's not here to fight him, he loves all of them. If they four of them join his Bloodline, they can run this company for decades. They don't have a 5th man, they don't have a Wise Man, they don't have any other choice. Or, the four of them will die where they stand. Roman takes the mic but before he can speak, we hear "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" Paul Heyman introduces himself, but he says nobody can do WarGames 4 vs. 5. And the fifth will be -- CM PUNK!
