Best car for mid to early game?

I've just recently completed the tutorials, and defeated 2/3 hearts (if not counting the tutorial one), I'm still at that biker base but I'm wanna move down south to the fire station when I'm done. And I'm not really happy with the army car u get at the tutorial. Is there a better one liek a van or?
