Hello everyone!

It's been a while again. Another 6 months have passed since the last mod announcement. Crazy how time flies doesn't it?

As you all know, SMC has officially shut down 2 days ago, on January 20th 2025. It's a shame NetEase has closed down SMC, as it has brought many good memories to all of us.
However, it's known NetEase will not bring back SMC (or at least not as the game we know).

What's next?

As many of you are likely aware, there is a project currently going on called SMC Revival.
Their goal is to recreate SMC to bring back the game. For legal reasons we can not support their game creation, however we are rooting for their success.

Discussions about SMC Revival and all are allowed, just no sharing of files or other properties/copyrights of NetEase through the subreddit.

This subreddit will continue to exist as an honor to the game which influenced so many of us.
