Update: Sims Amber

Apparently a lot happened while I was away for the holidays...

I excitedly arrived home and jumped on the computer to check on Amber and see if there was anything worth updating for everyone this evening! When the game loaded into Amber's home I noticed multiple food dishes that were only half prepared, a plate of chocolate chip cookies, and a stack of dirty dishes (for some reason on the floor). When I put my mouse over the two half prepared dishes to have her finish cooking them it said she wasn't skilled enough. Sooo...someone has been here cooking in her home? Because there's not really another explanation for how she could have prepared food that she wasn't high enough skill to. Hmmm, strange.

I click upstairs to check on Leah and notice there's dirty diapers strewn across the bedroom floor. Not surprising. Here's where things get weird. I click over to check on Leah and pause, the name is not Leah. I click up and down on the home, checking to see if somehow Leah has made her way to another room. No, I can't find her anywhere. Where did this newborn come from? OMG, LEAH WAS NOT A NEWBORN, SHE WAS A TODDLER LAST TIME I LEFT. The realization hit me and I immediately start checking out this random newborn in Amber's bedroom and quickly discover his name is Jairo. WHO THE FUCK IS, JAIRO?! 🙀 Suddenly I'm remembering that I was confused one of the last times I checked in because I could've sworn I had aged up Leah to a toddler...but then Amber's taking care of an infant...strange. I guess I chalked it up to poor memory and didn't question it but now it makes sense that my first post had toddler Leah and my second post had MYSTERY NEWBORN NOW KNOWN AS, JAIRO.

I go back to Amber to see what she's doing as I'm questioning what the hell is happening. I find her out back, for some reason shoveling snow in the grass. Literally there was no walkway, there was not even a paver. It was grass/mud she was shoveling. I'm about to go to Manage World so I can find Gary and see if HE has Leah when suddenly *Amber pulls out a bong and takes a huge rip before laughing maniacally.

I head to Gary's, hoping to find Leah safe and alive. I load into Gary's save and there he is with Leah, being absolutely adorable making a snowman together. I am happy to report Leah is alive and well.

I still have no idea who the fuck, Jairo is or where he came from but I'm ready for this adventure with y'all 😂

*I tried recording my gameplay but there's a bit of a learning curve haha. I have an incredibly wide monitor because of my work and I think I need to make my window smaller for the game to properly record and I definitely need to figure out the conversion settings. I'll continue learning and hopefully I'll have a solid video next post if everyone is still on board :)
