Associate Discount

Just went to Marshall’s the other day and a KAREN cashier was pretty much interrogating me. Where do I work? How many years have I worked at my store? What position am I? And she was like then you know all the rules of using an associate discount card. I legit had to hold myself back from saying something but what could I say. I currently work at TJX and I’m paying for my items so what’s the problem? This is the second time this happens to me. Different locations and it’s getting annoying.
