Anxiety wasn't the correct diagnosis
I know this isn't a medical sub, however I know it's extremely common for women to be given a diagnosis of anxiety when there was an actual underlying issue.
I've dealt with this "anxiety" for the past three years, only a few months ago when I was in the ER did someone finally give me an inhaler. Followed up with primary and was referred to a pulmonologist that I see tomorrow.
I peeked at my reports and it's pretty valid, the FVC was 73 percent before inhaler and 89% after.
I was going through my chart and found the countless times I have went in with shortness of breath and told it was anxiety, is anyone familiar with how to get this removed or updated?
I don't want to continue to have valid health issues and for any future providers to see "anxiety" and treat me poorly. Plus I'm pretty pissed about being gaslit for many years
