One of my “guy friends” unfollowed me ages ago on Instagram (tbh it wasn’t a friendship because i was a little attracted to him and he vocalised before he was into me as well (sexually though)) anyways so he decided to follow me again just a month ago and i followed him back. He explained he had unfollowed all girls (something to do with his religion? lol) and then we talked. I cared about him a lot and then just a few days ago he told me he didn’t care and that he’s just horny that’s why he texts. My heart was a little shattered because even though i never wanted to date him, i was hurt. i lowkey realised the “friendship” was a bit toxic and id be happier if he were gone and just detached. Then last night i checked and he unfollowed me again. This time i blocked him because what the hell do i look like? a 7/11 that i’m just convenient sometimes? absolutely not. either you care about me back or leave i can’t be nice anymore i have to be selfish.

i admit i was a bit delusional about him because i found him to be very hot and my friend told me “girl be fr” and that’s when i realised he was not this muscular sexy guy i pictured in my head but complete opposite and i put him on a pedestal for no reason. i later realised this was because i was projecting my own potential on him and decided to move on, especially cause he has this tough guy persona all because his ex and some online girl broke his heart LOL💀😭🙏🏽

So yeah. here’s to allowing great people in our lives in 2024!
